Saia-Burgess has acquired the synchronous motors and motor gearbox divisions of Sick/Stegmann GmbH & Co. KG. The acquisition will enable Saia-Burgess to expand its synchronous motor offering. The acquisition will enable Saia-Burgess to increase its share of the small synchronous motor market worldwide, with nearly half of the increase expected to come from the HVAC market. |

Saia-Burgess USA Inc, a manufacturer of sub-fractional horsepower stepper motors, linear actuators, and synchronous motors introduces URG1 series stepper motors. Just 13mm in diameter and 11mm in length, these miniature stepper motors offer precise operation at up to 2500 steps per second. These motors are IP40 rated, weigh less than 7g, can operate in temperatures ranging from -20ºC to +60ºC, and are designed to provide reliable operation for lower duty cycle applications. Custom versions are available.
